Support our charity events to make a difference in the lives of Maryland youth!

Once again in 2026, NASFAA is bringing back our popular Charity 5K and Trivia Night events to benefit our conference charity partner, First Generation College Bound.

FGCB is a grassroots, private non-profit celebrating over 35 years of college success. Based in Prince George's County, Maryland, the organization has remained committed to investing in the development, growth, and wellness of children in relation to higher education. FGCB offers youth and their families a “pipeline” of educational interventions, comprising academic readiness, supportive services, and guidance, to help them achieve high school graduation, college admissions, and earn a post-secondary degree. The FGCB College Access Program currently provides services to over 600 low-to-moderate income students annually, with the goal for them to attend and graduate from college with little to no debt. FGCB currently has 3,435 students who have gone to college, 2,119 students currently pursuing college degrees, 1,139 students who have earned Higher Education Achievements, and 42 students who have pursued Military service.

Charity 5K

Monday, June 29, 2026, 8:00 a.m.

NASFAA 2026 attendees and their guests are invited to participate in a 5K on the morning of Monday, June 29 - either in-person, or virtually. Registration is only required for those participating in the 5K; non-participating conference attendees are welcome to stop by and cheer on the walkers/runners.

Registration for the Charity 5K is separate, and not included in the overall conference registration.
- There is a $30 minimum donation for in-person race participation (includes race entry & a t-shirt).
  - T-shirts are only available for those who register by May 1, 2026.
- Virtual race participation will also require a $5 minimum donation (does not include race t-shirt).

Charity Trivia Night

Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Join us for a fun and friendly competition with our Trivia Night (general knowledge questions) and other fun events the evening of Tuesday, June 30. Registration is required for those participating in team trivia.

Registration for Trivia Night is separate, and not included in the overall conference registration.
- A minimum donation of $15 will be required to participate.
- Please note: this event happens concurrently with Topgolf Game Play. Please register for only one Tuesday night event.
- Transportation will be provided.

Charity Topgolf Game Play

Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Also happening the evening of Tuesday, June 30, golf fans are invited to sign up for a spot at a NASFAA-reserved bay at Topgolf National Harbor. Registration is required for those participating in golfing.

Registration for Topgolf Game Play is separate, and not included in the overall conference registration.
- A minimum donation of $15 will be required to participate.
- Please note: this event happens concurrently with Trivia Night. Please register for only one Tuesday night event.
- Transportation will be provided.

NEW Bundle Registration for Multiple Events

If you'd like to register for the charity 5K and either Trivia Night or Topgolf Game Play, you may choose the bundle registration option. This allows you to register and pay for two events at once.

You must register for a bundle in addition to registering for the conference!
- There is a $45 minimum donation for a bundle. The bundle includes:
  - in-person 5K participation (with race entry & a t-shirt) and a choice of either:
    - Trivia Night or
    - Topgolf Game Play
- 5K T-shirts are only available for those who register by May 1, 2026.
- Please note: Trivia and Topgolf events happen concurrently. Please register for only one bundle.
