A.M. News: December 2025

Happy Holidays!

"Let's Circle Back Around the Holidays"

December is here, and it seems not a moment too soon! From all of your messages and LinkedIn posts, I see it’s been a busy fall for many of you as you tour the regional conference circuit. You have earned a little R&R, so hang in there – we're just a few weeks away from a much-needed break!

As 2025 wraps up, I would like to thank all associate members for all that you do for NASFAA and our institutional members. Your guidance, advice, knowledge, and solutions are needed and valued.

Personally, I also want to thank all of you for being a pleasure to work with and for your camaraderie throughout the year. I wish you a restful and merry holiday season, and I look forward to seeing and working with you in 2026!

What's New With NAMAB?

Well, a lot, actually! But don’t just take my word for it. Stephanie Wells, the new chair of the NASFAA Associate Member Advisory Board, explains the work being done on behalf of all associate members and what's on the agenda for the rest of the charter year.

But Did You Know About…the Buyer's Guide?

As an associate member, you are automatically included in the NASFAA Buyer's Guide. Think of it as a Google search (but better) for NASFAA members to find the services they need. Head to the Buyer's Guide to kick the tires and see your organization's listing.

  2. Select "Manage Institution or Organization" from the menu on the left side of the page.
  3. On the right side of the page, select "Manage Buyer's Guide Listing" under the logo field.

  • Exhibitors must register for the conference as attendees!
  • Book your hotel reservation ASAP, as our room block is filling quickly.
    • Please note that the NASFAA room rate block applies only to Sunday through Tuesday.
  • You may sign up for a Capitol Hill visit during registration. Once you have done so, you must also register for the mandatory webinar on January 27 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
  • Exhibitor information, including shipping details, setup hours, ordering services, deadlines, and more, is available on the website.

Did you know your exhibitor profile is essentially your virtual booth? Consider it your first handshake between you and conference attendees before they even set foot in DC! Giving your exhibitor profile a little love can go a long way in turning a blank space into an effective marketing tool.

Virtual Booth Samples

Don't miss the opportunity to make a great first impression by making your "virtual booth" the best it can be. Head to the exhibitor profile page to update your online booth with conference staff and contact information, social media links, handouts, product info, videos, and more!

  • Exhibitor and sponsor sign-up is underway! Place your order online or contact me with any questions.
  • Our 2026 charity partner has been selected! We'll be supporting First Generation College Bound, a fantastic Maryland-based organization committed to helping low to moderate-income students access and complete college debt-free.
    • If you have considered becoming a charity sponsor, please let 2026 be the year you commit. Our previous charity sponsors have cited this opportunity as one of the best ways to engage with conference attendees. I call it doing well by doing good, and it makes us so happy that we made a little video about it:

What's on Your NAMAB Wishlist?

Feedback Form

As Stephanie explained in her video above, NAMAB is a volunteer committee composed of associate members who, along with NASFAA staff, meet monthly to shape the associate member experience within the broader NASFAA community.

You may have spoken with NAMAB members at regional meetings, as they share informal updates about the work being done on your behalf while also seeking your input for future initiatives. Did you know that you can share your thoughts with them (and NASFAA) at any time?

Please complete the associate member feedback form whenever you have questions, suggestions, or comments. We review each submission carefully and welcome your input in helping us continue to improve and strengthen the associate member community. Thank you in advance for contributing to the conversation!
