This webinar will provide a review of the outcomes from the recent negotiated rulemaking (neg reg) session of the AHEAD committee which addressed Pell Grant-related topics stemming from the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” including student eligibility changes and expansion into workforce programs, and a new accountability metric for programs with low earnings outcomes. We’ll discuss the proposed changes and discussions surrounding both new limitations and expansion of Pell Grant eligibility and the specifics of plans to hold institutions accountable for graduates with low earnings. The presentation will be followed by Q&A.
