The institutional reporting deadlines for gainful employment (GE) and financial value transparency (FVT) are rapidly approaching, with the 2024 and 2025 reporting cycles due on September 30 and October 1, respectively.
Following months of advocacy by NASFAA and other higher education organizations, the Department of Education (ED) offered an extension of a previous GE/FVT reporting deadline until September 30 for the 2024 cycle. The deadline for the 2025 cycle and future cycles is expected to fall on October 1, meaning schools must submit two separate reports this year due to last year’s extension.

Another extension would be helpful, considering our SIS just received more patches to resolve FVT/GE bugs (which would affect both 2024 and 2025), and additional programs were discovered recently to include for 2022-2024.
